PRAY FOR WORSHIPPERS OVER THE AP
• Pray for an army of warriors to be built up to worship on behalf of the people of the Arabian Peninsula. Ask that He would help His people to make worship our warfare against the strongholds of our own heart and against the battles waging war in the spiritual realm over this nation. Pray that our worship would be infused with His power.
• Pray for opportunities to engage with those in the Arabian Peninsula on what worship means. Pray that God would soften their hearts to see worship not as a set of moral codes to complete each year, but as the transformative and life giving thing the Word says it is. Pray that they would worship the one true God.
• Pray for the body of Christ in the Arabian Peninsula to be refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated in worship. Pray that believers would not lose sight of its importance, and that believers would long to abide all the more. Pray that the believers, especially workers, would be reminded daily that worship of Jesus is our first calling. Pray that the mundane aspects of COVID life do not harden the hearts of believers and draw them away from worship.
Pronounciation: al-ḥamdu li-llāh Literal Translation: Praise be to Allah
This phrase is heard in almost any conversation in Arabic, and often even those had in English. Unfortunately, it has lost its heart meaning. Pray that God would convict those in the Arabian Peninsula to truly think of Him and praise Him when they speak this word.
